Which scooter would give me the best value for a $2000 USD budget? I am focused on reliability, quality, range. I understand that batteries degrade over time. I want my battery to last as long as possible. I also don't want to get stuck with a lemon.

If you want the battery to be quality, focus on the cells. Usually known brands such as LG, Samsung for the cells would be good quality. Some scooter brands advertise the brand of the cells.
